Running through the night...

What do Woodland teachers do in their free time?  Jenny and Lily may have a slightly bizarre perception of fun. These two enthusiastic runners blazed roads, day and night, in the Reach the Beach Relay this weekend with their posse of twelve on the NH State Parks Team.  From Bretton Woods, NH to Hampton Beach, NH this team conquered fevers, sleeplessness, stinky vans, and triple running legs (and thus very sore legs)! Although these ladies ventured toward the unusual, they were also rewarded with some priceless gifts - a full moon lighting the way, incredible generosity of many schools who opened their doors to runners with warm meals, the sweat smell of salty air as they reached the ocean, and the camaraderie of a most excellent group of passionate runners!
