There is so much energy and excitement wrapped around our Journey! Daily, kids are choosing to divide their time between working indoors and outdoors between research and hands-on. The focus is driven by the desire to learn how to survive out in the wilderness; particularly how to build a shelter, fire, and what plants one can eat to stay alive!
We look forward to our continued work with the Roots School and hosting a New England wild edible specialists.

A Free Choice Batik offering has started this week. Alongside Lily, students learn the complex, sequential, and traditional art of batiking and kids are each making their very own WCS t-shirt! Hand drawing, wax application, and multiple dye-baths are all part of the process they will be a part of.
