Winter Wonderland in a Mild December

Winter Wonderland Journey continued this week with many students continuing projects and others starting new ones. Examples of projects in the works include: Advent Calendar making, history of the Christmas tree, tree cutting and setting up, Caroling Team practice, traditional igloos made from foam blocks, snowflake making/coloring, ski building, Snowflake Bentley, cooking traditional Figgy Pudding, ornament making, and researching the origins of Christmas.

Field Trips in support of Winter Wonderland Journey

This week we were fortunate enough to get a behind the scenes tour of snowmaking at Bretton Woods and to visit the New England Ski Museum at Cannon!
